Good post on role playing.

And I thank you for having the courage to post about your depression. A lot of people experience it, I've had it in my past, and I hope your posts will help some people out there.

Hey Steff,

Read an interview with you on the subject of blogging. Love the full name and would love to hear the voice some day!

Ended up spending happy hour tonight at an outdoor bar here on the island and the temps were pretty much the same as yours (other than the sea breeze and the industrial sized fan standing next to the bar).

Luckily, I was able to come home to a shredded "local beef" sandwich prepared by the girl's nanny. Think I'll nuke some Sarah Lee Pound Cake for desert (10 seconds does the trick).

Thanks for the update on your night. Love the Rosemount Shiraz me self. Must try it refrigerated! Have great memories of sangria in Montreal last year for a friends bachelor weekend!

As for your nght, isn't it wierd how we desire those alone times yet the headspace still sucks? Unfortunately the depression (/adhd for me) thing requires stimulation. Luckily you had Cronenberg.

On the role playing thing, not sure my "other" ever had the switch turned on let alone turned off. She was the gal who tape recorded herself playing the piano so she could fake practicing by playing the tape back and fooling her parents. A six year old pulling off this type of trickery was NOT into "playing Doctor".

The role playing thing, therefore, was always silly for her, and apparently still is. I've asked her to consider wearing certain outfits that would drive me wild but... no go.

Here's the fucked up part: all this I learnt AFTER we were married. I have no problem with a woman's need for reliability and the comfort factor. In fact, thats a major part of what I want too. Just DON'T "put on" a freaky side (filled with variety) to lure me in then give it up due to "maturity" and religion after marriage.

You say it's simple Steff. Try telling that to my other. If she knew I was on this site tonight she'd be smashing china on the ceramic tiles as she does with even simpler matters.

Steering wheel prints on ths ass and a stiff neck? Ha! I'd give my left nut to be able to put a woman in that position again (although a "tour" in a comfortable bed seems more enticing at this hour of the night).
_____________________________________

Thanks for the DEPRESS-O-METER update. Six out of ten aint bad. Room for improvement though.

For me: Partly cloudy, isolated showers (blamed it on my contacts today but really I was staring over the horizon too long at what could be...beautiful sunrays)

Night.
