But then again, it probably comes from the fact that in our society, people are never taught when they grow up how to resolve things.

It’s always violence that sells shows and that’s where children learn their behavior because parents neglect to teach their children.

Of the five of us, four of us had been raped – two more than once.

All five had been sexually assaulted.

Four – the same four – had been hit by a partner.

I’m in all three categories.

As for the relationship and getting hit? Man, I felt sorry for the guy. He was so incredibly messed up and underneath it all wasn’t that bad.

But I walked anyway, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I value myself more highly than to put myself in that kind of danger. Everyone, everywhere, deserves better than that.
