And it's an indescribable feeling ... at once both cerebral and physical. You do feel goofy and tingly and slightly sick to the stomach all at the same time. I always think of goofy song lyrics when I think of that time ... you do hear music. I was completely smitten and I believe, he with me, but only for a time. We're not together now and I've never felt that way since. Still, I feel so lucky to have felt that way once in my life. I’ve been very lucky to have been in love once. Specifically:<br/><br/>- comfort<br/>- attraction<br/>- friendship<br/>- companionship<br/>- chemistry<br/>- family<br/><br/>... your own definition is, of course, unique but these are a good starting point. For me it was a realization I came to when, as you said, I recognized that the rest of my life was not as important to me as the person I was with. Cars, jobs, stuff, etc. are just window dressing when your heart strings are a-pulling. Love is the place you arrive at when you realize that a number of planets in the firmament have aligned. - comfort
- attraction
- friendship
- companionship
- chemistry
- family

… your own definition is, of course, unique but these are a good starting point. For me it was a realization I came to when, as you said, I recognized that the rest of my life was not as important to me as the person I was with.
